PetJive Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Developer: TARIK KOCYIGIT
App: PetJive for iOS
This Privacy Policy explains how TARIK KOCYIGIT (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PetJive iOS app and related services. PetJive is an entertainment app that turns a pet photo and an animal template into a short AI video. It is not a medical, veterinary, or family-care product.
1. Who is responsible
The controller is TARIK KOCYIGIT, the developer of PetJive. Privacy questions: [email protected].
2. Information we collect
- Account. Email address; optional nickname and avatar. If you use email sign-in we send a short-lived verification code. We do not offer a password you set in PetJive.
- Pet media. Photos you upload to create videos, and template media we host (cover images, video, audio). Uploads are stored in object storage and shown through a CDN URL.
- Generated jobs. The template you chose, the credit cost at that time, the source image URL, job status, and the result video URL when a provider returns one. Videos for accounts without an active membership may include a watermark.
- Purchases and wallet. Credit balance, membership expiry, App Store product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and order records needed to grant membership or credit packs and to avoid granting the same purchase twice. Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Invites. Your invite code and, if you enter someone else’s code, the link between those accounts and any credit ledger entries from that reward.
- Notifications. Your notification preferences. If you allow push notifications, a device token and an optional device identifier.
- Advertising. PetJive may show interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads. When an ad is requested, the advertising partner we configure may receive a device identifier, IP address, coarse device information, and ad interaction data under that partner’s own policy. Watching a rewarded ad is optional. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
- Support and safety. Information you send to support, and operational logs (such as request identifiers) needed to run, debug, and secure the service.
We do not ask for your phone number, contacts, precise location, health data, or photos from your camera roll except the pet photo you choose to upload.
3. How we use information
- Create and authenticate your account with email verification codes.
- Generate AI videos from the photo and template you select, deduct credits, and show results.
- Validate App Store purchases, keep membership and credit balances correct, and reverse a grant if Apple reports a refund, expiration, or cancellation.
- Apply invite rewards you choose to use, and grant configured new-user or membership credits.
- Send verification emails and, if you opted in, push notifications when a video is ready, when a purchase lands, or for product updates.
- Show ads and, if you redeem a rewarded ad, add the configured credits.
- Respond to support requests, moderate abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
4. AI generation
To create a video we send the pet image (or its URL) and template context to the generation provider configured for the service. That provider processes the image to produce a video. Generation is not performed only on your device. Do not upload a photo you are not allowed to share with us and our processors. Output quality, uniqueness, and availability are not guaranteed.
5. Sharing
We share information with processors who help us run PetJive, including:
- Apple, for App Store purchases and subscription status notifications.
- Google, for push delivery if that channel is enabled.
- Amazon Web Services, for object storage and email delivery.
- The AI video provider configured for the environment, when you submit a job.
- The advertising partner configured for iOS ads, when an ad is requested.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect users, the service, or others.
6. Retention
- Account data stays until you delete the account or we close it for cause.
- Temporary uploads that are not used are removed after about three days.
- Deleting your account removes your AI video jobs and your uploads, and marks the account deleted so the same email can be used to register again. Purchase and credit ledger rows may be kept for accounting, chargebacks, and fraud review.
- Backups can lag live deletion for a limited period.
7. Your choices
You can update notification preferences in the app, turn off push in iOS Settings, sign out, and delete your account in the app. You can decline an invite code and skip rewarded ads. To request access or deletion beyond in-app controls, email [email protected]. Apple’s own privacy controls, including App Tracking and subscription management, are in your Apple ID settings.
8. Children
PetJive is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International processing
Servers and processors may be in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. If you use PetJive from another country, your information may be processed outside your home country.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
